I read in one of my Charlotte Mason books a unique way of doing spelling with children. I write a word on the wipeboard, hold it up for the children, let them look at it for a period of time. They may spell it on their tablet AFTER they have studied it and can close their eyes and see it in their mind. This method is working wonderfully for us so far! The kids are having fun with it too.
