The children thought it was hot today so they ran in the sprinkler. We are all anxious for warm, sunny weather.

Day 290
Friday
Today was a WONDERFUL day. We spent it in Winston at the Wildlife Safari. It was warm and sunny. We met a bunch of other homeschoolers - we rode the train, had a bear encounter, walked around the Village and got up close and personal with the wild animals on the safari. Here is an emu checking out Jaren. SO much fun!

Thursday
This afternoon we drove down to Roseburg Oregon and stayed in a yurt. We loved staying in the yurt, it had beds a heater and electricity. The kids watched a movie on our laptop before bed.

Wednesday
Late tonight it began snowing and sticking - again!!!! The kids were so excited to get out before bed and play in it.

In an effort to get more protien in my diet for the growing baby I've been experimenting with quinoa. Paul isn't thrilled but he ate it.

Today I packed up the kitchen decorations. We are preparing to move, of course we don't have anywhere to move yet.

Today is Paul and my 16th wedding anniversary. Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids while Paul and I went out to dinner.

This morning we were surprised to wake up and find the ground covered in a blanket of snow. It melted by the afternoon (thank goodness!).

Ahhh, our exciting life. We hear a bunch of noise outside and rush out to look. These 3 helicopters flew over our house several times. We don't know what they are for.

Today was a very wet day so I brought an umbrella to church. I set it up in the living room to dry. Jadon thought it was a good place to sneakily eat the carrots he was supposed to be sharing with everyone.

Friday
I'm 15 weeks pregnant and got an ultrasoud today. I had a litte bit of spotting earlier in the week and wanted to be sure everything was good with the baby, which it is and which I knew deep down inside. I'm happy to have a picture now though.

I'm glad the children enjoy the rain. I sure as heck don't, unless I'm inside watching it where I'm toasty warm.

I bought this game to help the kids learn US geography. When we first played it Jenea complained that it was the worst game ever. The next day she was begging me to allow her to play it claiming it was her favorite game.

Jude and Jaren casting spells on eachother. I'd say too much Harry Potter book reading, they'd say not enough.

This afternoon the whole famiy came with me to my appointment with Midwife Betty. We finally heard the baby's heartbeat. It took a while to find it, and we only heard it briefly. We heard lots of the umbilical cord.
