Friday
Today we met our friends the Fosters at the Oregon City kids pool (the last day for the summer, as it closes tomorrow). They boys took a break to watch a movie on Lucinda's phone.

Thursday
The kids and I went out to run errands, we came home to find Grandma Tuttle filling up our livingroom with her stuff. I quickly transfered the stuff to the garage so we could have our livingroom back.

Wednesday
Today we went hiking and on a picnic at McIver Park in Oregon City with Grandpa Tuttle and some friends. We'd never been there before, such a pretty place!

Tuesday
I was in the kitchen and I heard a Jadon cry in the pantry. I looked and found him stuck on the shelves.

Monday
We went to visit our friends the Fosters to exchange homeschooling ideas. I saw this shelf above their kitchen sink and had to snap a shot because I LOVE it!

I got piles of cucumbers from gleaners and decided to make pickles. I guess we won't know how they turned out for a least a few months.

This evening we went to the stake luau. Jadon insisted on carrying his own chair.

Friday
Tonight we had the missionaries over for dinner. One of them (from Utah) was carrying around what looked like a package. He told me it was his scripture cover. He made it out of boxes and packaging tape; it's waterproof because it rains a lot here in Oregon.

Jolie and Jadon wanted to eat their breakfast outside and have a picnic.

I came home from running errands and found Jadon having a good time getting into the peanut butter.

Jolie was running around in the grass with bare feet. She stepped on a bee. It's her first bee sting. She kept her cook and just pulled the stinger out herself.

I went in the guest room to kiss Jolie and Jaren before they fall asleep for nap and I found Jadon giggling in the middle of them.

The kids were so excited to help Grandma open her birthday gift. Jadon thought it was his. I don't think he'd enjoy or have any use for a pressure cooker.

This morning the 4 older kids attended a stake pioneer activity. They picked berries, made dolls, played pioneer games and hauled a handcart.

Today we made a quick trip to the grocery store. I didn't get a cart and let the kids walk. Jadon, unbenonswed to me picked an apple off the stand and started eating it right in the store.

Finally, we made it to the outside Oregon City kids pool. Jude LOVES it! He's actually swimming here.
