This afternoon we attended Jolie's friend Jenna's baptism then we went to her home for cake and ice-cream.

While we were pulling weeds today I found this little oak tree start. It reminds me of miracles. A little oak tree becomes a mighty oak.

Thursday

I am teaching Jenea and Jaren to prepare meals by themselves. Tonight I taught Jenea how to make stir-fry. It turned out beautifully!

Tonight was an Activity Girls Recognition Night. The room was decorated with flowers of each of the girls and Jenea presented me with this heart plaque she made - and she got up in front of everyone (something that is hard for her to do) and said something sweet and presented it to me.

Tuesday

Today I had a pre-natal appointment with Midwife Betty. I love those appointments, they are like therapy (o=. She measured my 25 week along tummy and it measured at (gasp) 28 weeks - usually I measure small. I must have one big healthy baby in there.

This week most babies are about the size of a broccoli head. I think mine is a bit bigger.

Lately I've been thinking of what kind of house I want next - we are SO ready to move. I found the house while on a walk this week. This is it - this is what I want, but in a different state, and out in the country on lots of land so we have room for a large garden, chickens and possibly goats (o=.

This evening we watched Jaren compete in his 2nd pinewood derby. Paul and Jaren made the car - he wanted it to look like snake skin - this was as close as we could get.

Friday

It's "Field trip Friday". On the 32nd anniversary of the explosion of Mt. Saint Helens we went with our home school group to Mt. Saint Helens. It was wonderful! Such a beautiful day. Such a beautiful place.

Poor little Mia thinks we are tormenting her. We are just hoping to get her used to wearing a harness so we can attach a leash to it and allow her outside on the deck to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

Today is Mother's Day. I probably wasn't supposed to, but I grabbed a quick picture of the primary children and teachers in sacrament meeting. Paul is on the far left, Jolie and Jadon (the only 2 of my 5 children who sang to me) are on the front left.

Today I am 24 weeks pregnant - just 111 days to go. Apparently the child is about the size of a cantaloupe.

Today is Paul's birthday. Such a sunny, beautiful day. The children LOVE playing outside in the water. I have a hard time keeping them inside to do their chores and studies - who can blame them?
