Today we had a gleaners pick up. Paul brought us a whole box of ripe bananas. I was going to throw most of them out but Jenea suggested we dehydrate them - so I recruited Jolie and Jadon to help me. It was a great suggestion, they turned out wonderfully!

Today I bought a brush for Mia's fur. It gets everywhere! She really enjoys being brushed by Jenea.

Paul recently set up our swing. The children LOVE climbing on it, which I discourage of course. Here is a rare moment they are using it as it's intended to be used.

Tuesday
Jude HATES taking naps even though he NEEDS them. Often I'll put him down for nap just to go in his room and find him out of bed playing with toys. Today he snuck upstairs and I found him sleeping here curled up on this chair.

Jadon and Jolie like to play dress-up together. Princess Jadon escaped to take a ride on his scooter - out front, in front of the whole neighborhood.

Tonight instead of swimming we took our family to a park. They brought their bikes and scooters. I got my walk in.

My children really enjoy playing with silly puddy. They enjoy it so much I find it stuck to walls, tables, the floor, and their clothing and hair. Sometimes I have to wonder at my sanity allowing them to play with the stuff.

It was a beautiful sabbath. After church we went to the temple and took a tour of the grounds and the new visitors center. Funny thing is the missionary couple who gave us the tour happened to know Paul's paternal grandparents. They were in their ward in Coos Bay for several years. Small world it is in the church.

Tonight we all slept over at Grandma and Grandpa Grahams. They watched the children while Paul and I went to the temple.

Tonight just after I got the children to bed we lost power. That was the end of bed time. We got out the flash lights and hung out for about 45 minutes till the lights went back on. We still don't know what caused the outage.

Today is Jadon's 3rd birthday! To celebrate we took the children to JJ Jump then out to lunch. It was a great day!

Jaren in his favorite chair - participating in one of his favorite activities. First thing he does in the morning is read, during quite time he reads, before bed he reads, between chores and home schooling he reads, in the car he brings books to read.

Jolie and the little neighbor girl Shayla were playing with sidewalk chalk. Jadon slipped in it, then Shayla decided to "chalk" Jadon even more. He was pretty upset about it; but he did get a bath because of it, which he LOVES.
