Received a text
from the modeling agency asking if Jolie could go up to Seattle on
Monday for an audition. I asked for the details, then was texted back a
question - "is Jolie missing any teeth?" She is, so she can't do the
audition. I thought that was strange. I don't know many 9 year olds
that aren't missing at least one tooth.

I did a booth with Lucinda today. You hold a class, we give you one of these packets! It worked beautifully, booked four classes!

Wednesday
Our last day here. We had a blast! Jadon and I kept going up several flights of stairs to take the slide back down, and up and down. He LOVED the slides and I LOVED riding with him. Jaren and I finally talked Jolie into going on the Howlin' Tornado which was quite a thrilling water ride. She was glad she did it. We are all glad we were able to go to the Great Wolf Lodge!

Tuesday
The pictures are a little out of order. We enjoyed staying in the hotel the whole time, and eating and playing games in the evening. Jenevieve insisted on walking up and down the stairs to our hotel room, and we stayed on the 5th floor. She and daddy waited at the bottom of the slides when we went down. Jadon, Jolie, Jaren and I are on the River Run Canyon. Jadon is just barely tall enough. He sure loved the thrill!
Monday
Today we began our little vacation at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, Washington. We all felt a little under the weather so took it easy our first day. The four oldest (Jenea was not with us, she went on a Trek adventure with church this week) immediately went for the wave pool and spent hours in it! Jenevieve spent time in the toddler area and had lots of fun with daddy there.

Look what happens within just a few minutes of dropping food downstairs. I had to spray peppermint all over the place and vacuum these little bugs up. Ants hate peppermint, good thing we love it!

A fellow homeschooler told me there is a dome home near her home out in the country. Jenevieve and I drove out there to ask the owner if we could take a look. He gave us a tour. It was so interesting. I really liked it. Paul and I have been wanting to look inside one for many years now.

Jolie and Jaren had a casting call in downtown. We brought JJ with us. She liked the elevator, but was a little scared at the same time.

We went to the Oregon City Farmers Market today. We rode the old Oregon City Elevator for the first time. It was a pleasant afternoon.

Jenevieve wants to be like us. It seems as though at least one of us is reading and eating at any given time throughout the day. She grabbed one of Jaren's books, got some popcorn and settled down to enjoy herself.

Tuesday
Jaren loves archery, so I did a little search and found an indoor range. Today was home-school day so I took him there for our date. Lots of fun!
Monday
After spending a week at the Graham's and having the children play on the neighbors trampoline so much I thought we would get one for the children's birthdays - all of them are coming up. Paul was out and noticed a free sign on this perfectly good trampoline a few houses down from us. We just needed to get a few screws for the legs and it was good to go!

Jadon figured out how to climb up grandma/pa Graham's deck from the ground. He went out the front door of the house, came in the french doors on the deck. There are no stairs on the deck. Jude, Jolie and Jaren then copied their youngest brother.

I taught a class at a gal from Romania's home tonight. She sent me home with these traditional cookies. They are not as sweet as typical American cookies, but they are still very yummy!

Today is Memorial-day so we had family time and decided to go to a park we'd never been to before, Memorial Park in Wilsonville.
