Tonight we had a home-school kick-off for Jaren's Sons of Helaman class.  It was at the Waddels.  My little monkeys Jolie and Jaren are playing on the swing-set.  JJ is visiting a rabbit.

Jadon loves this little finger flash light Grandma Tuttle bought him. Do you notice he's sleeping on the floor?  He has a bed, he much prefers sleeping in our room on the floor though.  We like to have him with us!

Today we helped a dear friend.  She's fighting hard to get a new and larger public library built for our little town.  She contacted over 50 families to invite them to participate with her.  We and just a handful of others showed up.  This is Jadon, Jenevieve and Jude in the childrens part of the library.  I want a room just like this in our next home.

We picked up 3 boxes of peaches today.  They taste SO good!  Here is Jaren processing them.  He's peeling, cutting and freezing them for future smoothies or fruit on waffles.

We love that Jenna lives just 1/2 a mile away.  She comes over, or the children go to her home often.  They actually like the smoothie I made today and have the mustaches to prove it!

My new toy.  I've wanted one of these for several months now.  I found one on craigslist.  So thankful!  I just want to find fruits and veggies to chip, chop, grate and slice!  It's a Saladmaster Salad Shooter.

Today I went to a ladies house to teach her about oils and she sent me home with all of this - protine poweder, pickled asparagus, cucumbers and zucchini from her garden.  What a sweet lady she is!

This is how Jadon puts food in the refrigerator.  I didn't know we kept our food two steps down the stairs.  I don't know that I'll ever figure that one out.

Candy  parade day (ahem, Gladstone Cultural Festival Parade Day).  We found cousin Jacob and his Juggling Balls in the park drumming up business.

Happy Birthday Jaren!!!!  He turns 11 today.  He spent the day playing and we went to the Gladstone, now it's called, Cultural Festival (they changed the name - it used to be Chautauqua Festival).  Jaren got an MP3 player (now he'll quit stealing mine) and a new bike among other things.

 Thursday

Here are Jaron, Jaren and Jaren at the pack meet tonight.  Jaren G (that's my Jaren) received his Arrow of Light Badge.  He's now moving on to Boy Scouts.  

We also spent the day at Multnomah Falls with the Kenners (and Jaron).  I wanted to spend time with them before they headed back to Alaska and I wanted to take my children to the falls.  Most of them hadn't been there before.
