Thursday

It was a beautiful day so Jenevieve and I went out and sat on the porch swing while Jaren, Jolie and Jude hung out in the maple tree.

Today I did what I do to all of my children when they are infants - I made a casting of Jenevieve's hand.

Monday

Midwife Betty came over today for another check up on Jenevieve and I.  We are healthy.  She just has two more visits, we sure will miss her and this period of our lives.

Uncle Bud came over to help Grandpa with something.  He was able to meet Jenevieve, he held her for quite a while.  He is a relatively new grandpa - and such a good one.  He's always been my favorite uncle, such a good man.

Saturday

Jaren had his first soccer game ever today.  He  plays on a homeschool team called the Cougars.  His team won 3-0.  Paul took him.  I'm glad he filmed some of it so I can watch it.

Grandma Graham came just to visit Jenevieve right after work.  We feel so blessed to have grandparents live near by.

Jolie enjoys changing Jenevieves diaper - she's such a sweet older  sister.

 

Can't get enough of that sweet little face.  She's already starting to get a double chin.

Monday

This painting speaks to my heart.  Every time I look at it I cry because I know God's angels surround us and protect us when we are in need and living righteously.  I have felt them several times.  Today I talked with the artist who made this painting - Kerri Guthrie.  I'll be ordering a few of these prints.

Jenevieve and I spent the day together, Jenea spent it with us.  The 3 of us hung out when everyone else went to church and to Grandma and Grandpa Grahams.  I LOVE this quiet time I have to just be - and to spend time with my children in a non rushed manner.

Today Great Grandma Graham came to meet her newest great grand daughter (she had a great grand son born in August, and another great grand son born just a few days after Jenevieve).  I guess GG Graham has 69 grand/great grand children.  Quite the posterity.

Since Jenevieve has been born Jadon is joining the rest of the children in sleeping in odd places.  He's asleep in the middle of the playroom.  He seemed to me to be small before Jenevieve was born, now he seems just huge!

I've been having the children help me since Jenevieve has been born.  It's a good thing, they are learning to work and to serve.  Jaren made me this smoothie for lunch.

This was taken on Thursday, Jenevieve's birthday.  I thought I should post my birth mom, Jenevieve and I.  It was a miracle my mom (who is moving from Alaska to South Carolina) was in Oregon when she was born; she was in Oregon for just a few days.

My friend came Angie (who now lives in Alaska )o=) happened to be down here visiting this week.  It was wonderful to see her and catch up on things before she headed back north.

Jenevieve, Jadon and I like to sneak upstairs at night, have a dessert and watch a little TV before bed.  Lovin' my babymoon, just being and spending time with my children.

Grandma Graham was SO excited to get another granddaughter (she has 8 grandsons, and now 4 granddaughters) she went shopping for cute girly clothes for Baby J.
