Saturday

Tonight we had the missionaries over for dinner.  After dinner it's typical for the elders to share a message.  They had a very entertaining and unique message for us tonight, the Mormonized version of Dr. Seuss' book Green Eggs and Ham.

Friday

This morning Jadon and I went up to Emmanual Hospital so Jadon could have an MRI to see if anything can be found that may have caused his grand mal seizure on the 12th.  He did a fantastic job and I held up pretty well too.  We are still waiting on the results.

This evening I went back to toastmasters after taking a 3 month sabbatical.  The kids were thrilled to have Grandma Graham come and stay with them while I was gone.

Grandma and Jennifer decided to come out of the house to enjoy one of the few sunny days during their 2 1/2 week stay in Oregon.

Saturday

Day to of camping.  Grandpa and Jaren went fishing.  Jaren thought he caught something, he felt a hard tug on his line.  When he pulled the line out of the water the bait was gone, so he thought he caught a really big fish.

Grandma Joy came back to visit and get more dental work done.  It's cheaper down here.  One of her favorite things to do here is read to the children.

Found out what the yellow goop all over Jadon's face and clothes were, egg yolk from one of our incubating chicken eggs.  RIP little chick.

Sunday

Today is a day I will remember for the rest of my life because I have never been so scared.  Jadon had a seizure and went unconscious this afternoon. For a moment I thought he had died.  Thank GOD he didn't.  I called 911 and he went in an ambulance to OHSU.  As Thomas Paine said, "These are the times that try men's souls."  My soul was tried today. When I went to pick up the rest of the kids from my mom's house she had this plaque for me.

This afternoon we went to our ward picnic at the Ruscliff building.  There is a meadow behind the building the kids enjoyed playing in.  I thought this was a nice picture of Jolie in the meadow.

Jaren posted this sign on his bedroom door, if you can't read it it says "come in, come in".  He's welcome to anyone coming to visit his bedroom.  Sweet kid!

Today is Jadon's 2nd birthday!  We celebrated by buying each kid a balloon from the dollar store, going swimming and eating cupcakes and popcorn for dessert.
