Today the kids spent time out front with our neighbor kids Shaylee, Shayla and Kyle. Apparently Kyle's sister was drunk and tossed the family cat out of the car (what the cat was doing in the car in the first place is a mystery) and the family cat hasn't been seen since. The kids went door to door in our neighborhood asking people if they've seen the cat and offering a reward of $35 for it's safe return. Jenea came in and drew many cat pictures to post up around the neighborhood to help in the effort.
Today is Jolie's 7th birthday! She enjoyed wearing her new birthday dress to church and being sang to in primary. SUCH a blessing she is in our life, so much joy she brings to our family.
Today Jolie was excited to go to Grandma Graham's and have her first birthday cake of this birthday. She's been begging me to have a party for her too, which I will, eventually (o=. Love that girl!
This is embarrassing. This is our garage - otherwise known as our dump. I'm cleaning it out and will post the "after" picture as soon as I get it done. It may be a while.
We were out front pulling weeds today and Jaren noticed a rainbow. I went inside to get my camera, came out to take a picture and it had dissappeared. So, here is a picture of what our neighborhood looks like out our garage. Lovely isn't it?
Today was a sad day in our family. We took apart the trampoline and got rid of it. It was falling apart. We are on the lookout for a larger one because the kids were getting too big for this one anyway.
Tonight we left Spanish Fork to begin our journey home. We saw this rainbow as we were leaving. We'll miss Utah. We spent the night in a hotel in Burley, ID.
This afternoon we went to visit my friend Renae in Orem. She has a wonderful kids playroom built under her staircase that my kids LOVED playing in. We want one of those in our next house!
We were SO excited to spend the day at Seven Peaks Water Park. The kids LOVED the kid area with all the slides. They also enjoyed the wave pool, riding the waves on their innertubes.
Today the kids were thrilled to go to the Dinosaur museum then out to dinner at the Mayan Restaurant. We were surprised at how few people were at these places. Aunt Larisa bought fireworks, the last ones the grocery store had and we lit them off where we were staying. We really enjoyed the day and were grateful to be together.
