Tonight we went trunk-or-treating. Poor Jenea and Jaren really didn't have appropriate costumes, we'll have to see what we can come up with for Monday. Jude wore an elephant costume that was too small (he wanted to), Jadon was a pumpkin, and Jolie a vampire.
This is what I want my family to look like in 20 years, I want to be surrounded by my children, their spouses, and children, LOTS of children. This is the Mitt Romney family, he too has 5 kids.
This afternoon the girls had their Patriot Girls class. We learned about horses, how to feed them and care for them, then the kids got to ride them. This was Jenea's and Jadon's first time riding a horse. Jude didn't want to, he was just content to watch.
This morning the boys and I ran a few errands, including to the homeschool supply store where they made a b-line for the toy section while I shopped. They are sitting in a pack and play.
I broke the shelves in our pantry. I was holding onto what was holding them up and they collapsed. Paul had to empty the pantry out to fix them. Jadon was his best helper in doing this.
This afternoon Jadon got another ambulance ride, this time I got to come with him. He had another grand mal seizure, turned blue and passed out. Scared the snot out of me so I called 911. They couldn't determine what was wrong with him so he'll go see a neurologist and his naturopath, we'll get it figured out. This is what they put on his ankles, shoulders and wrists in the ambulance.
Today was my first time hauling for gleaners. The snack box flew out of my truck, not the garbanzo beans. We didn't know garbanzo beans are in shells. I had the kids unshell them.
Today is Jenea's 11th birthday. I didn't get a picture of her )o=. Grandma Graham came and took her and Jude (who's birthday was Sept. 30th) to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Jaren bought a pocket knife. He's learning to whittle. He's made lots of daggers for the boys. He really enjoys it.
Late Spring/early Summer we cut potato eyes and planted them to see if they would turn into potatoes. We harvested them today. We got potatoes, baby ones.
