Friday
Midwife Betty came back to our home today to check up on Baby J (we don't have a name for her yet) and I. I LOVE how home birth midwifes weigh the babies in their sling scale. So cute! She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz when she was born, today she was 6 lbs 13 oz. It's normal for babies to loose a little weight after they are born.

Today
was the most miraculous day of my life. I'll write about it somewhere else. I'll just say I've never felt closer to God and heaven than today when this sweet little angel was born in our home, and became a part of our family. SO many miracles happened and I'm filled with unspeakable joy.

Wednesday
Today I had an appointment with Midwife Betty. I figured I'd better get a picture of her and her clinic (which is built off of her house) because it might be the last, at least while I'm pregnant. Betty is SUCH an amazing midwife, I'm so grateful to have her support me through this pregnancy. I'm 40 weeks, 5 days along.

Tuesday
Our neighbor went crabbing and shared his catch with us. I've never had a whole crab before; wasn't sure what to do with it, and, frankly, was scared to do anything with it. I finally got up my courage and dug the meat out. It wasn't as gross as I thought it would be. I made crabcakes which turned out pretty tasty.

Monday
This afternoon the oldest three children went to a birthday party, so Paul and I took Jude and Jadon to the park for a couple of hours. I just LOVE my little monkey boys.

Sunday
Thought I'd better grab a picture of me being 40 weeks pregnant. Baby is in position, engaged and ready to go. I was awake a lot of the night last night with fairly strong contractions. Can't wait to meet this little one.

The kittens are very patient with Jadon - he just loves them.
