Thought I'd better grab a picture of me being 40 weeks pregnant. Baby is in position, engaged and ready to go. I was awake a lot of the night last night with fairly strong contractions. Can't wait to meet this little one.

Friday
Today is my "due date" - I woke up in the middle of the night with heavy bleeding so Paul and I rushed to the hospital. Everything was okay so we came back home. I spent the day getting the children ready for their homeschool classes to begin. Jaren and I went shopping - he starts soccer on Tuesday. He's so excited!

Thursday
I can not for the life of me figure out why children who have nice bedrooms and perfectly good beds would prefer to sleep on the couch and floor in the playroom? Here are Jenea and Jaren going to bed. Jenea often writes before going to sleep and Jaren reads. Lately Jolie has been sleeping on the floor in my bedroom with Jadon - Jude is the only one that seems to like his bedroom.

Wednesday
Paul talks often of taking the cat and kittens shooting - and he doesn't mean as companion animals. He's really gentle with them and they seem to like him. Here is Paul with Smokey.

Tuesday
Jolie begged Paul and I to take her swimming tonight at Family Swim. We haven't done that for a long time, so we went. We took two of the neighbor girls too. Here are the children trying to hide from my camera. It really is fun having a van large enough to carry friends.

Monday
I decided to take Jolie on a date this evening - before baby comes. Jolie picked going to Meldrum Bar park and the Clackamas River. It was very nice. After visiting the river Jolie wanted to play on the play structure. She quickly made friends with the other children playing there. Such a social little girl.
